Harvard Crimson Charity Gala
A Celebration of the Performing Arts in Dallas
The Harvard Crimson Charity Gala brings together our entire Harvard Community from the undergraduate colleges as well as the graduate schools for a fun and festive evening, while raising money and awareness for this year’s chosen charities. We are proud to say that our efforts in the past have met great success, not only for the Club, but also for the charities we have supported. In 2009, the event raised over $20,000. Our total giving from this event exceeds $200,000.
The 2010 Crimson Charity Gala, with Special Guest Host Mayor Tom Leppert, will be held on Saturday, April 24th, at the spectacular AT&T Performing Arts Center Winspear Opera House.
A 21st century reinterpretation of the traditional opera house, the 2,200-seat Winspear’s principal performance space is designed to be the environmentally conscious, state-of-the-art standard against which future opera houses will be measured.
The 2010 Gala will focus on three local charities: Rainbow Days, Inc. (RDI), Special Care & Career Services (SCCS), and the Jazz Studies Program at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (BTWHS). Learn more about our beneficiaries.
Please help us continue to build the momentum and enthusiasm that this event has created over the past years. Plan to attend and reserve your tickets early. We are also looking for Sponsors, Silent Auction donations, and volunteers.
